Thesis: Romeo and Juliet cannot be with each other because of their family name, Now some parents don't let children date because of either their religion or race.

~Parents are a big influence in modern day couples and Romeo and Juliet
*They approve or disapprove of certain relationships
* Tell their children who they should or should not date ( sometimes based on image of other person).

~Parents are judgemental when it comes to what religion or race the person who their daughter/son is dating.
*Don't let children date people who are from a different religion from theirs.
*Judge people depending what race they are and think certain ways because of one person's race.

~ Parents strictness causes young teens to rebel because they are more open to different kinds of people.
* In Romeo and Juliet, Juliet doesn't feel the same way about montagues as her parents.
* In modern days teens go behind their parents back to be with the person they want to be with.
